The 3rd Annual Sacramento Black Book Fair (SBBF)






The 3rd Annual Sacramento Black Book Fair (SBBF) is sponsored by The Black Group. The Fair is an offshoot of Blue Nile Press a Sacramento Publisher of Black Books. This historic event will take place from June 3-5, 2016, in historic Oak Park, at eight different venues: underground books, Brick house Art Gallery, Guild Theater, Sacramento Food Bank, Women’s Civic Improvement Club/Center, the historic Alpha Kappa Sorority house, McClatchy Park, and University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

It will bring writers, publishers, readers, children’s area, a community parade and vendors from Sacramento, the state, the country, and the international community, to a celebration of reading and writing, right here in River City.

The event headquarters and check-in site will be housed at the historic Women’s Civic Improvement Club/ Center (WCIC), 3555 3rd Ave., Sacramento, CA 95817. SBBF is free and open to the general public.
